Intensive care units running short of drugs, warns Royal College of Anaesthetists

Anaesthetic drugs in intensive care units treating coronavirus patients are running short, specialists warned on Sunday.
The Royal College of Anaesthetists confirmed claims from its professionals that key medicines in hospitals were "in relatively short supply" as it agreed that supply was "a bit stretched".
Dr Ron Daniels, an intensive care consultant in the West Midlands, had previously told the BBC that his hospital was "running low" on propofol, a commonly used anaesthetic, and alfentanil, an opioid painkiller.
Keith Ridge, the chief pharmaceutical officer of NHS England, is also said to have privately expressed concerns about the availability of some drugs.
Certain types of sedatives and painkillers are the main drugs under pressure, but the college maintained it had the reserves to cope

Prince Charles is positive of Covid-19
The eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and heir to the throne of the United Kingdom, Prince Charles, was reported positive for corona virus. CNN reported, Wednesday (3/25/2020), currently the Crown Prince titled Prince of Wales is undergoing quarantine in Scotland. Based on information from Clarence Palace, Prince Charles tested positive for corona virus after showing mild symptoms. President Joko Widodo's instructions to the National Police Chief to crack down on mask hoarders while corona virus entry in Indonesia. And immediately followed up through the process of law enforcement by the police.  The suspect is known to sell masks online through   social media “Instagram”.

       50 medical workers affected by                coronavirus or COVID-19.

Anies Baswedan announced that as of Thursday (3/26) there were 50 medical workers who were exposed to the corona virus or COVID-19.  This number increased by six people from the previous data on Tuesday (3/24). "So that figure illustrates how big the risk and there are two people who died, and this happened in 24 hospitals in Jakarta," Anies said at the Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (3/26). Meanwhile, Chairman of the Jakarta Provincial Task Force Catur Laswanto said, to date there are 291 positive patients with corona virus who are undergoing treatment in the hospital, and 604 others have been allowed to go home. Based on data displayed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in the corona.jakarta.go.id site, to date 43 people in Jakarta have been declared dead due to the corona virus.  There was an increase of six cases from the number previously released by the DKI Provincial Government.

Indonesian Maid Beheaded

An Indonesian housemaid has been executed in Saudi Arabia after being convicted of killing her employer, the Saudi Interior Minister said.
The woman was beheaded in the Southern Asir province in what was the second execution in the country.
The maid was earlier found of suffocating her female boss and stealing her jewellery. Rape, murder and other serious crimes can carry the death penalty in the conservative desert kingdom.
Last year, Saudi Arabia, which follow a strict interpretation of Syaria, Islamic law executed more than 130 people.

The School is Closed because Corona in Southeast Sulawesi.

The Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Ali Mazi, revealed that the school holiday process will take effect starting on Monday, March 16, 2020. For all levels, starting from kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school / vocational school, SLB.

Horse Dead

A horse was found dead after allegedly being forced by its coachman to travel and carry passengers through floodwaters on Kayu Gede in South Tangerang, Banten.

At around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, the coachman took his horse to travel through the flood, which was chest-high at the time.

the horse’s corpse was carried away by local authorities using a pickup truck.

As many 300 families in the neighborhood were affected by the flood stemming from overflowing water from Angke River. Many residents have taken refuge at relatives’ homes in other areas or at temporary shelters provided by the South Tangerang administration.
